AJM and Colbert @ the Smithsonian

Stephen Colbert recently petitioned the Smithsonian to put up his portrait in the Portrait Gallery, which is down the street from my office here in DC. I went over on my lunch break and found it...conveniently located near the bathrooms in the southwest corner of the building. I posted on the Colbert message boards, looks like I was the first...maybe he'll pick it up and give a nod to AJM on his show? That would make me one happy Colbertite.

Best bag

It's a known fact that I have a problem with:

a). bags
b). shoes
c). bikes

In the first category, here's a product you should buy in bulk and distribute to all of your earth-loving friends.

Compact, re-usable grocery bags from ACME.

A great find by Kelly. It was a bag-filled Christmas.
